Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I serve as motivational and inspirational leader on high school football team in how I live my life and in roles such as pre- and post-game chant and pre-game prayer. In addition, I volunteer by assisting and tutoring the football players and other students.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue "healthy athletic performance" by working very hard, maintaining a healthy diet, and preparing myself physically, mentally, and spiritually.

I have no interest in partaking in drugs or alcohol as I am grounded by my faith and work hard at taking care of my body.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I serve my community by:
(1) volunteering at Interfaith Food Center
(2) tutoring football players and other students
(3) youth ministry junior core member and Eucharistic Minister at St. Bruno's Catholic Church
(4) volunteering to work with youth skaters and hockey players
(5) volunteering at school service events such as the Food, Toy, & Book Drive
(6) volunteering with the Impact Peer Mentoring Program
