For my 380 Lacrosse team the coaches relied on my knowledge to get my teammates into the best position and to call the plays. I am always checking to make sure everyone is in position and feel comfortable in that role. I do the same thing with my friends just hanging out and when I volunteer with the Children's Alopecia Project or anything at school.
I take care of myself both by eating right and working out. I also spend time with my family and value their input in my life. I go to Mass every week and have a great core group of friends that have the same values as me.
My parents are the founders of the Children's Alopecia Project. (www.ChildrensAlopeciaProject.org)
My sister Madison has total body hair loss because she has Alopecia Universalis so what was meant to be a local nonprofit helping other kids with alopecia has grown into a worldwide nonprofit helping kids around the world!
I help at all the planned events, fundraisers and awareness programs my parents are involved with. I do it because of my sister and my parents but the real satisfaction I get is helping kids from all over the place.
