Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a leader in my school as I am a member in Student Council as well as a group called MEMDA. MEMDA stands for "Mission to Eliminate Marijuana Drugs and Alcohol", and we meet regularly to discuss how to eliminate these issues from our school. I am also a leader on the court because I am one of only four remaining starters on my high school team this year.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete, I definitely believe academics come first. I enjoy learning and I understand the importance of it. I try to maintain a balance in my life of academics, and athletics.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in serving my community in a couple different ways. I am a member of McFarland High School's volunteering organization called Ambassadors, as well as a member of the Madison-Area Chapter of National Charity League. This includes volunteering at Ronald McDonald House, Meals on Wheels, The Children's Museum, our public library, and at my school. Both my freshman and sophomore year I have earned a presidential service award for my hours.
