Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am the captain of my soccer team and lead them, along with my coach. I pride myself in dedicating time to benefiting the team and not only training, but encouraging them.
On top of this, I am also going to start ASB and plan on running soon.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I work out every day personally and have developed a regimen. I have a diet that allows me to train and compete at my best. I don't do drugs or alcohol etc.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I love serving my community. San Diego is a beautiful place and I love to keep it that way. It is also mandatory that I complete 20 hours of service every year for graduation.
Currently I am doing the following:
-Interact Club, this club is a well awarded club dedicated to all types of charity. It is sponsored and connected to the Rotary Club of Del Mar. It mainly focuses on the environment and helping troubled youth.
-San Diego CoastKeeper- This is an organization that I have recently joined that does monthly beach clean ups.
- LIGHT group- Light stands for living in gods house together. It is a mandatory class that focuses on charity and works together through out high school.
