Personal Highlights

I also compete in wrestling and track and field. Have earned three varsity letters in wrestling.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I lead by example on the field and in the general way I conduct myself.
Off the field I just try to conduct myself the right way. Being decent to people is free, doesn't cost a thing.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I'm a three sport athlete. There is no such thing as an off season.
I enjoy wrestling and track but basically use them for football. Balance and the physical nature of wrestling, speed and strength work from track as I run the 100,200, and long jump.

I give 100% in the classroom as well. Challenge myself by taking Honors and AP classes. I'm going to "tackle" some Capp classes as well this year.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

When it does not conflict with my own practice, I help out with the Webster Stanley middle school wrestling team. Also help at youth camps. These efforts are important because these kids are the future. Some of them may need mentoring or just showing them how to do things the proper way.

Part of the Spartan Support program. This involves working with fellow students who are less fortunate than myself.
