Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletic scholarships are a great opportunity to not only continue playing a sport I love. I would to be able to play in the NBA but I also would like to be in the law profession. It would very helpful to help with future college debt to get as much assistance as possible.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I communicate well with teammates on the court and often get together pick up games on days we do not practice. Outside of basketball I was picked to attend the Mayerson Leadership Conference at the University of Cincinnati. I was also selected as one of the few Juniors inducted into the National Honors Society.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I make sure to eat lots of fruit, get plenty of rest every night, and always stay properly hydrated. I also get lots of exercise outside of basketball.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Over the 2 1/2 years I have been in high school I have performed over 120 hours of service including making lunches for the homeless, tutoring kids at my school and at an organization called El Puente, and working a kids basketball camp over the summer.
