Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

While working at the Texas Air Museum, I was tasked, along with a small group, to design a new layout for the museum to make it more visitor-friendly. I was the youngest member of the group, being only a sophomore in high school, but I offered many ideas, and soon after, began leading our meetings and answering questions for my team members. I was chosen by the group to present our ideas to our boss, and was appointed supervisor of the team to put the plan in action.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer at the Texas Air Museum at Stinson Airfield in San Antonio. It is a non profit organization run entirely by military veterans, and volunteers like myself. I worked every Friday over the last two summers and will be returning again this summer to work for this great asset to my community. I enjoy volunteering there because I am allowed the opportunity to interact with military veterans on a personal level; I get to hear some of their stories, and their experiences in their various branches during the wars in which they took part. It has left me with rekindled admiration for those that have served and provided me with a desire to serve my community in even more ways.
