USTA- Qualified for 16s Superchamp and 14s Superchamp before then
I pursue healthy athletic performance by not only maintaining myself physically by staying in shape, but also psychologically to be sure to not lose my way on the court; tennis is only partially physical, and majorly a mental game. Physically I attend after school practices generally at least 2 hours at country clubs or other small camps. When I can not attend them, I run and work out at my local Lifetime on my own or simply jog around the neighborhood and exercise at home. Mentally, I try to get a good night's sleep before a match-day and remind myself that negative emotions merely hinder performance and are not worth the troubles that end up coming both on and off court.
