Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

This year my diving team "recruited" a young diver, named Audrey, who was very young, quiet, shy, and didn't know much about diving or what to expect. She came into practice the first day kind of scared and quiet but luckily my teammate, Meghan, and I noticed this and we both decided that we should go up and reintroduce ourselves. We started talking to her, and instantly her face lit up and we could just see her opening up and becoming more and more a part of the team after that day. Recently, at my job, we got a new manager. She is completely new to company and hasn't quite gotten the hang of things around the store. A lot of my coworkers haven't been to keen on her because she doesn't know anything about working there but instead of joining in on the hatred I went to the new manager and talked to her to help her better understand how we do things around the store, and in doing this I was able to gain her trust and now she has been working she has caught up on most things around the store and all the workers have gained more respect for her because she is trying.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am actively involved in a local church in which I help out during mass or by helping out at Children's Liturgy of the Word, which was formed to help children in our community better understand the Gospel readings and better understand how the acts of Jesus are similar things we all can do in our daily life. I also was a part of Link Crew, which is a group selected by 2 teachers in our school to help the incoming freshmen get used to the school and become comfortable with the school by knowing older students who can help them out.
