Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I help plan activities for the Student Body, assist in fundraising activities, and uplift school spirit. I get involved in pep rallies and go to every sporting event I can make. This is important to me because I want my school to be as fun and spirited as possible. I am also a leader by supporting my teammates. By supporting my teammates, it makes us better friends and that helps us communicate better as a team. I am a leader off the field by enhancing in a career. Although I am still young, it is good to enhance a career because being educated about effective leadership tools will guide me to become a better teammate and leader.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

How I pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete:
As a student athlete having a healthy lifestyle can help in many ways. In becoming an athlete eating right and the right amount of nutrients helps me perform better when playing any sport. I have learned that eating the right foods, both before and after games, helps me prepare and recover so my body can perform to its potential. In doing those things I have noticed an increase in strength, agility and condition. In conclusion, I have a balanced diet and I try to eat the right foods to preform throughout my sports life.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I believe that service is one of the most important things a person can do to give back to their community. I am able to give service to those in need with the help of my church which identifies people that need help. I help people in need of painting, cut lawns and other things which they might not be able to complete without a little help. I have always been taught to pay it forward in everything that you do in life. Helping to bring joy and happiness to other is a true act of charity. I am very active in my church and believ this has been a big factor in shaping who and what I am today.
