Personal Highlights

I'm an all around athlete. I play softball, volleyball, and basketball. I play outfield and infield. I prefer outfield but I can play anywhere I am placed. I am a left-handed hitter, but I throw right-handed. My Coach says that is very "RARE". I am currently a Junior at Pike County High School located in Brundidge, Alabama. I am a dual-enrollment student, I am a high school/ college student. I am a member of the Business of Finance Academy where I have the opportunity to get my Business degree when I graduate, and enroll in college as a Sophomore. I am very strong-willed, I do not mind working hard, or doing extra. I believe in being disciplined. My favorite quote is "I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me."

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am very active in my community. I am a Junior Ambassador, AIM Leader/Mentor, and I do community service around on my own time. Being a Junior Ambassador is important to me because I get to represent my school, I get to be with other students from other schools that are in my grade, and I learn skills such as leadership, communicative, and teamwork. Being an AIM Leader/mentor is important to me because I love to help kids. I always encourage kids to stay active so they can become and athlete. In AIM we teach about sex and how to abstain yourself. Community service around the community is important to me because I love helping people, especially the elderly.
