Personal Highlights

At the age of eight I began running in Track and Field. As I grew, I began to learn more about the sport and I fell in love. Some time passed and I heard of a sport called cross country. I tried out and I was very excited to know I would be able to run all year long. I ran with the Heritage Valley Blazers in youth track then with Free Spirit condors and Fillmore Condors for cross county. I was able to compete nationally in youth cross country with AAU and USATF. I was awarded all-American in AAU 2012 and USATF in 2014.
I’m now competing for Fillmore high school track and field and cross country . I have been competing for Fillmore High school since my freshman year and have competed at CIF Prelims/Finals every year and competed as an individual qualifier for CIF State my freshman year. I have received many athletic awards while attending Fillmore High School and many academic awards as well. I have maintained above a 3.8 GPA for my three years attending Fillmore. I am also very involved outside of running and my academics. I am part of the Sports Medicine Club, Hall of Fame Club, Drama Club, Early Academic Outreach Program, and I also volunteer with special education students and also the secretary of the Harriers Club.
I’m interested in a school with a kinesiology program and a school that would be able to offer me the help I need within my running career and within my education. I’m interested in a school that will challenge me, and help me with the many obstacles it may hand me, and I feel as though I have much to offer as an athlete and a student.
