Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I would love to be recruited to play sports at the college level because i feel as though it prepares me for life. By this I mean within a team there are two things. One is good communication. Communication is needed anywhere whether it's with your boss or a coworker, communication is key in success. The second thing is hard work. When I started playing field hockey I was in ninth grade. I did not play in middle school, my first year at experiencing this new game was in high school. I believe that all the time and effort I put into making myself better to improve the team as a whole, has really shown me that sports are like life. Two key things you need are communication and a way to strive for success.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I agree with the statement that athletes are leaders on and off the field. I think this because in a classroom setting the first ones to take on a plan of action or a new idea are the athletes. Leadership is built into an athletes system and it comes natural i believe. Without leadership you cannot win, it takes courage and the will to want to push others to succeed.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
