I didn't play high school lacrosse my Freshmen year because I had transferred schools. Although I did play travel summer lacrosse with True Lacrosse with their U17 Lakeshore team. My sophomore year I am a starter for varsity and have played almost every minute so far. This year I will be playing the Bandits lacrosse 2016 lacrosse team. The tournaments can be found at http://bjsports.com/bj-sports-bandits/.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am currently enrolled in two schools, Portage Northern High School of Portage, MI, and KAMSC (Kalamazoo Area Mathematics and Science Center) in Kalamazoo, MI, which is a prestigious high school that requires to be tested into. It only allows 85 students per grade total from Portage Central, Portage Northern, Kalamazoo Central, Loy Norrix, Gull Lake, Climax Scotts, Galesburg Augusta, Vicksburg, Schoolcraft, Comstock, Hackett, and Kalamazoo Christian. I have a 4.5 weighted G.P.A. which shows my dedication in the classroom along with the on the field. I am in the student senate at KAMSC; I try and represent my schools as much as possible. Besides doing four varsity I am actively in both community service programs available to me, Volunteer Kalamazoo and Youth Service Council. For sports I was elected one of five captains for my football JV football team this year (2013 season), and one of four for my True Lacrosse Lakeshore team (2013 summer).

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I put academics first when it comes to doing sports. I do four varsity sports, while maintaining a 4.5 weighted G.P.A. which I am very proud of which is attributed to my dedication to education even if it means staying up late once in awhile. I make every single practice so that I maintain my level of play, and even workout before and after to give me an edge in competition.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I'm actively in Youth Advisory Committee of Portage, Michigan and Youth Service Council of Kalamazoo, Michigan which are the two biggest community service programs in my region of southwest Michigan. They're both all year groups that actively go into the community and are dedicated to providing for the needy and keeping the environment as clean and elegant as possible.
