Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As an athlete on the field I demonstrate leadership by being a team player. I always encourage and keep my team members uplifted. I display a respectful attitude and contribute to the team as I'm coached. Being a leader off the field I maintain good grades, and keep a great attendance record. I also remain respectful to all adult figures I encounter on a daily basis.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by maintaining a very good balanced diet. I drink water daily to keep a hydrated body throughout the course of my school day. I work out daily and eat fruits and vegetables on a regular basis.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I'm involved in community service projects that will leave an lasting impression on those individuals. I volunteer in an Special Education Unit with different students. All of these students have many disabilities, including Autism. I'm also, a part of the Dallas Community Youth Development program where mentoring and guidance takes place during monthly meetings. During the summer months I volunteer to feed the lunch to children of all ages at various parks.
