Personal Highlights

I currently play baseball for the 16u Midwest Prospects Elite. I'm primarily a Pitcher/Outfielder, but play some 1st base as well. I hit in the 2,3 or 5 spot of our line-up depending on my coaches decision. I'm a line drive hitter with a gap to gap approach and have led my summer team in RBI's, hits and hit by pitch, the past 2 seasons. Defensively, I play Center or Left and feel my instincts and speed allow me to succeed. On the mound, I have an above average fastball and really good off speed. Also over this past summer I got the opportunity to join the U14 USA Ohio Valley team. It was a great experience for my family and I to experience. I hit .500 during the three games that our team played in. During our game against North Texas I got in a jam with the bases loaded and struck-out the next three batters to get out of the inning.
My biggest opportunity is getting more consistent on the mound, at the plate I need to improve my patience, defensively arm strength could always be better.
Besides baseball, I play football for my school. I'm one of three players given the chance to lift with the J.V and Varsity teams. Offensively I'm a receiver and on defense I play safety. My team hasn't lost since 5th grade because we work harder and are always more prepared. This year I 10 touchdowns and was a key blocker for my running-back on the outside. Defensively, other teams scored twice on us all year. I'm very proud of our success.
Outside of sports, I'm taking advances courses in Jr. High getting ready for High School and attend Riverside Church with my family. School and Church are important to me. Without success at school, there aren't sports. Without my faith, not much else matters.
Thanks for reading about me.
