Personal Highlights

My name is Parker Elliott, I am a 16 year old goalkeeper in Puyallup, WA, and it's a goal of mine to play college soccer. I have played soccer since I was about 7 years old. I played on a rec team for a long time, but we played at a select level and against select teams. I first tried out for a Premier level team in my U15 season when I made the switch from select to Premier level soccer. I played for Franklin Pierce Fury where we placed 3rd in league and won the State Cup. The next season (U16), we lost a ton of players, and our coach, and ended up not even having a team. I bounced around a little bit trying to find a team that was best for me and I ended up playing for Rainier Valley Slammers U17 team (one year up from where I should have been), in an RCL league. It was a frustrating season as I had at least 10-15 saves in the majority of the games, however we still lost every game, scoring about two goals all season. Now in my U18 season, I play for Washington Premier Black 97 and split time with another keeper. Last season (2014-15) we finished second in RCL league, first in NPL (which granted us a spot in the NPL National Tournament in Indiana), and became state champions. We are currently preparing for Regionals, the NPL National Tournament, and other summer tournaments. As far as my high school career goes, for my first two seasons I was starting JV keeper and backup Varsity keeper for Rogers High School, as our Varsity keeper started for 4 years and was one of the best keepers in the state. My Junior season (my first on Varsity, starting full-time) we lost 4 games all season (including playoffs and preseason), and finished 3rd in the 4A SPSL South Division, and lost in our second playoff game.
