Rowing Additional

This is my first year rowing. I played competitive lacrosse at my high school at the varsity level freshman and sophomore year. A friend of mine told me to try out rowing. Fall of my junior year I tried it and I loved it, and since then, can't get enough of it. I want to continue this newly found passion of mine in college and be matched against real competition, I am willing and eager to put in the work needed to succeed. We, at SDRC have practice 3 hours a day 6 days a week. I row in the 8x and the 4x. I have been a starboard for most of the season, but to change things up, my coach, Benton Sparks, switched me to port side. So I relearned how to row port. I can now row both whenever i am needed to fit a space in he lineup. Susan Francia, the two time olympic gold medalist in women's crew was also my coach for this formative year of rowing. I currently attend La Jolla High school in the 11th grade. I maintain a 4.83 gpa this year, which gives me a gpa of 4.5 from sophomore and junior year combined. My SAT is a 2100 and my ACT score is a 34.
