Personal Highlights

Outside of lacrosse i enjoy playing golf, fishing and mountain biking, anything outside is usually what i'm interested in. I am looking to go into the Air Force after college and will be enrolled in ROTC during my college career. I like to challenge myself and try new things and I look forward to continuing my lacrosse career during college.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Leadership is an on and off the field endeavor. Off the field I am involved in Army JROTC which relies heavily on leadership development in forming its curriculum. I am an S-4 Sergeant Major which essentially means I am in charge of making sure everything in supply is done and done well. During my time in this position I have been commended for doing well in a position which which required a bit of work. On the field I am charged with keeping practices flowing and stretching the team. I also take the pleasure of helping the new recruits with basic fundamental work and anybody that wants to work on faceoffs.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try maintain a healthy workout routine and eat a proper diet . I am currently a member of 2 travel teams so it keeps me busy as far as workouts go and in my spare time I try to get plenty of rest.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In reference to serving my community I have been involved in everything from teaching kids how to play cello to volunteering at a mud run. I am also involved with Mission Autism Support and Americans Supporting Americans. Furthering the arts is one of my main reasons for volunteering as I feel the arts are of the utmost importance and especially so in regards to children. Perhaps the biggest arts benefit event I've ever been involved with was also the most rewarding as I got to see so many types of artists come together in one, the event being the Blueberry Art Festival which highlighted graffiti artists. Being outside is also one of my favorite past times which has led me to volunteering at events such as mud runs. All of these opportunities have helped to define me and make me realize the importance of making sure everyone is taken care of which is extremely important to me.
