Lacrosse Additional

I feel honored that I have been selected by my peers and coaches for 2 years in a row to be Captain for Stillwater Area Senior High School. I was also selected to be the winner of the Roger Mathieu Leadership Award this past season. I have had a lot of responsibilities this year with being captain of the lacrosse team, playing 3 games a week, taking the ACT and keeping my grades up, all while trying to keep 12 hours a week working to pay for my club lacrosse program. My parents were not able to pay the full tuition for the club team and told me if I wanted to play that much I would have to work and pay for it. I realize my grades are not exceedingly high, but I am proud of how I am able to juggle so many things and not completely fall apart. I feel I am a leader and would bring great leadership and energy to any lacrosse team!
