Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I wrote a letter to my legislators and Governor Christie in NJ to propose a way to help immigrant children who have come across our border recently. These children are fleeing from their native countries due to gang activities, violence and drugs. I suggested coordinating with the members of my community and church for a collection of clothing, money or anything that these children may need.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Strong mind, strong body. Like this Greek philosophy, I try to keep a balance in my life.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved with the "Big Brother - Big Sister" program helping to care for disadvantaged kids after school in my community.

I also help in preparing the monthly "Shepherds Meal" at my church to feed hungry members of our community.
