Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

It is a privilege to be of service to others in need. During my summers I volunteer at AtlantiCare Labor & Delivery in Pomona, NJ. This experience has enlightened me on so many facets of life. For one, some people are suffering due to things out of their control. Dads get sick, Moms get sick and babies get sick due to uncontrollable circumstances and they need help. Second, I have learned the pure joy that is experienced from truly helping someone. To make someone's day by simple things is a purpose I would like to pursue throughout my life. Third, I have learned that everyone with honored careers have had to work hard. Many are not born with money, some are not the smartest in their class and others have had no support while endeavoring to make their dreams a reality. I have learned through my contacts with professionals in the hospital that all the above does not matter. I will continue to volunteer throughout my student career because I am determined to use my life to help others. My goal is to be a Perinatologist so I can help at risk moms have better outcomes and deal with unfortunate circumstances as best as possible.
