Personal Highlights

I am a hard working student who you do whatever it takes to get where I want to be. I am currently involved in various school and community cavities mostly involving different sports and helping the youth in my community. I try my best to do what I can. All I really want to do is make it far with track & field and make myself a good name in my community to encourage other youth pursue sports in secondary schools. I come from a reserve located in central Manitoba and its fairly small in size, but what makes everyone come together is sports and it makes all of them happy. My wish and dream goal is to get a scholarship offer to play what I love and dedicate myself to. So I can try get people to stay activate and think sport doesn't just stop when high school ends.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I wouldn't really call myself a great leader but many people have said I am. People just get me to be the youth chief for my community and school president because I have "great leadership skills" but I don't see it. If people say I do than I will agree with them. My leadership skills consists of great advise to my teams I play with and to not discourage anyone who is willing to give there 110% in anything them do. I will talk to anyone about anything that is bring them do and try get through whatever it is that is bothering them. My leadership skills are somewhere in the middle, I suppose.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am and always will try to be as involved in what my community does. I appreciate how hard they try to get the youth to stay activate and be healthy. All I really want to see is the youth and not just the youth but everyone in my community stay active for healthy lives. I am involved in various ways throughout the years and try to get people involved also. These efforts are important to me because getting everyone involved is the most important thing to try get what the messages are. I currently want to stay up a free gym and cardio studio for people who want to workout and try get in shape and stay active for healthy lives.
