Ability: "Kendal is a gifted and natural athlete. She displays high drive and intensity in her play, which includes performances in games, practices and off-ice activities. She is extremely "coachable" and is eager to learn. She accepts both praise and criticism and is willing to work hard to improve herself. She is a multi-sport athlete and has demonstrated high level of ability in her other chosen sports. "
Personality: "Kendal is very personable. She relates extremely well with her teammates and coaches. She has high expectations for herself and her teammates. She puts a tremendous amount of pressure on herself to perform well in support of her teammates. She leads by example and works very hard. She leaves everything on the ice at the end of a game or a practice. I have enjoyed having the opportunity to coach Kendal and consider it a privilege to have been a part of her development as a hockey player and young adult. "

Personal Highlights

My name is Kendal Newberry. I have been playing goalie for 10 years. I will be transferring to a college for my sophomore year for fall 2019. I will be looking for a school that I can continue with my passion for the sport of ice hockey and Lacrosse while attending. I am 5'7'' tall, weigh 125 pounds, and a competitive fitness athlete which packs me with plenty of strength and power. I just finished playing on a first year Tier I U19 team and 2 different Varsity teams. I have been playing on new or first year Tier 1 programs where I have averaged over 55 shots a game for the last few years. I have repeatedly seen the players and goalies leave these teams due to the pressure. I however, do not quit on my teams and have used these opportunities to better my game and leadership skills by working harder.
