-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Voted captain of my basketball team junior and senior year. Continue to coach underclassmen in spring league. Actively volunteer in my community. Attend Students Standing Strong and Best Buddies organization at school.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am very involved with North Texas Special Abilities. It is a non profit organization that provides activities for young adults with special needs. I volunteer as a basketball coach and with the weekly bowling outings. I also volunteer serving meals at the senior center in my community.
