Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have always been involved with our community church since we were very young, so community service is an inherent part of who I am and how I was raised in a Catholic family. When we moved from Southern California to the Atlanta area, we sought out another way to give back to our community. We became active in the Seven Bridges to Recovery program where we make hundreds of lunches for the homeless and travel out to their homes under freeway bridges and in low-income neighborhoods. In their own environment we are able to spend time with them, play with the children, and join them in prayer. It is a very fulfilling and enriching experience to be with people who desperately need our help and join them in a non-threatening and non-intrusive way. Seven Bridges to Recovery is a very powerful and important mission that helps a great many disadvantaged people.
