Personal Highlights

I am a senior and I will graduate in 2017. I was the starting nose guard for the Euless Trinity Trojans football team. I have my senior highlights on Hudl. We usually dominate and make it into the playoffs. This year we struggled on offense. The team made the playoffs but we lost in the first round to #1 team in the area the Allen Eagles. I did learn how to accept loss because we aren't use to losing. I learned how to become a better leader, supportive to my team mates and to move forward with adversity. Trinity football is amazing and I developed into a better person because of our program, expectations, tradition and because of the brotherhood among team members, WE ARE FAMILY. As a junior at Trinity High School, As a junior I was a back up to All American Chris Daniels.. I also play center. I wrestle as the heavy weight on varsity. This will help me stay in condition for football and to improve on my speed and endurance. I placed 4th in Districts in 2015 because of a concussion endured in Districts I had to forfeit my matches in Regionals. Watch out this season.. Football 2015 season is great. First game we played California De La Salle and we won. Trinity beat the #1 ranked team in the Nation. Our team also defeated North Shore and South Lake. We currently are ranked #3 in the state of Texas, #7 Nationally and we are 10-0 for the season. Playoffs begin November 13.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I always present myself as a polite respectful young man. I always try to do the right thing. I focus on my grades and being a role model for my peers. I stay out of trouble, listen to my teachers, coaches and of course my parents. I encourage my teammates and classmates to do thier best in the classroom and on the field. I surround myself with individuals who have good character and who have goals for the future.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I like to pursue healthy athletic performance as a student athlete by taking care of myself. I try to eat correctly, get sleep, condition and work out year round. I love football and wrestling. I think wrestling will provide a strong training regiment for me.This is my first year wrestling. The program will help me get leaner and quicker. I will be wrestling this Spring with our club team and also be working out with the football team. I stay active and stay involved in my school all year. During the summer I lift and condition. I always maintain my grades. I get A's and B's.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have worked at the Midcities football concessions as a freshman. I plan on working at the animal shelter this summer.I do alot of miscellaneous tasks around my neighborhood to help people. I rake leaves, trim trees, cut grass, move furniture and volunteer to help on whatever is needed. I get personal enjoyment and self satisfaction helping others.
