Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was voted as a captain this year for the field hockey team, and lead my team to a state championship. I lead by example and showed the girls how hard we needed to work during every practice, scrimmage, and game if we wanted to get the title.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I'm part of a club known as TIDALWAVSE, it stands for teens in drug awareness leading working and valuing self-esteem. We're a group of high school students that strongly believe in the working against substance use, and we volunteer in the community and to different schools to spread the message of substance abuse prevention.
