Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I take pride in my academic and athletic performance by balancing my time between school and sports. I currently have a 92 academic average for the fall semester of my senior year. I run, lift weights, workout and train all year round to be my best when the season comes, as well as eating right to ensure I maintain good health. I try to demonstrate this to my teammates so that they understand how important school and training non stop are to achieve academic and athletic excellency. I want to help set these examples for all of my teammates and classmates in school.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I workout, lift weights, run and train with our football team all year round as well as at the YMCA, absolute performance, and STA sports performance training to stay in the best shape possible, and to keep getting bigger, faster, and stronger. I also keep my nutrition in check to be as healthy and physically fit as possible. I also want to long good and feel good.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have a volunteer with the Amherst YES (youth engaged in service) Program. A youth volunteer program that helps out at events throughout the town of amherst year round. I have also been a volunteer with the Amherst Youth Works program, which is a program where amherst youth help out neighbors around the town of amherst with yard work year round. I have also been a youth coach at various youth lacrosse camps over the last couple of years.
