I'm a sophmore in highschool, I play varsity soccer and my position is goalie. I'm 15 turning 16 on September 8th, I'm 5'8 and still growing in height and personality wise also. I live in Fresno, California I'm eager to learn and extend my knowledge and athletics to a better and farther ability. I learn very quick, I am a durable, fast, and a very aspiring, ambitious, and determined person who is more than willing to go the distance and learn lots more. I hope to hear from someone who is ready to work with me as much as I am ready to work with them.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student athlete I used my elective for athletic P.E. and since I have a block schedule I go on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. So I'm only really sore on those days which is fine by me because what is sore is only making you stronger... Kinda.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In my neighborhood we live by this elementary school called Webster and on the weekends they do Saturday sports, so my younger brother and I take lunches for the kids that day. We do all these different sports but all the kids just love soccer the most. When we get new girls out there I try getting them to play goalie because it makes you brave and courageous. I see it all the time when they return the next Saturday, they just have this determination in them to get that ball and to work on this and work that. I feel that if we can make these girls better players and give them something to look forward to then we can really make a difference with these girls, we can make them stronger individuals. This is important to me because in the neighborhood and city that we live in, you kinda have to be strong and you have to work twice as hard to get stronger but it's all possible. I'll tell these girls that when something knocks you down, land on your back because if you can look up, you can get up.
