Soccer Additional

I was switched to different teams (multiple times) during my CFC Red Star Career. All of the staff has been replaced since my last game in 2014, which doesn't help with contacting.

My senior year was bad because my team got a new coach, Nick Fusco. He was 23 and hated us. I was benched most games because of not attending his "parties". I don't drink nor smoke, so I didn't want to affiliate with negative influences. At my prime, I was being looked at by many colleges, but my senior year ruined all hopes of playing the greatest sport ever created.

Personal Highlights

My name is Jacob (Jake) Smith. I'm going to start off with one fun fact about me: I was born 9 years after Lionel Messi.

I played for St. Anne-Pacelli High School soccer team all 4 years, practicing 6 days a week for 2 hours. I started JV and was subbed in Varsity frequently my Freshman year. I was started Varsity my Sophmore year. My senior year was bad because my team got a new coach, coach Fusco. He was 23 and hated us. I was benched most games because of not attending his "parties". I don't drink nor smoke, so I didn't want to affiliate with negative influences. At my prime, I was being looked at by many colleges, but my senior year ruined all hopes of playing the greatest sport ever created.

I did play for a club though. CFC Red Star is a club soccer team based out of Columbus, Ga. I played from 2009-14. I've played against the likes of NASA Tophat, Concorde Fire SC, SSA Savannah United, Smyrna SC Red, Atlanta Fire, etc. I went through multiple coaches and was switched from team to team, but all of this improved my youth experience. I was forced to quit in 2014 (after my junior year) because I was 18 and there wasn't a U19.

My freshman year of college, I got accepted to Kennesaw State University's Men's Club Soccer Program, since there wasn't an official Men's league. I practiced once and I was forced to quit, due to a futsal injury. Rehabilitated, I am training hard to be where I was currently at. My injury has made me a stronger person.

I have broken my nose (twice) for the greater cause of my team, I recently broke my femur (among other ligaments) during a futsal match, and I won't stop committing 110% for future team(s).
