Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

There is never a time that i'm not staying in shape. When my soccer season is over I start my track season and when that is over I work out with my personal trainer to stay fit. My favorite drink has to be water, I love water. I always make sure that I have the right amount of food to eat for the day and watch what I eat. No junk food.. I feel like once your body is used to eating healthy and you try to eat junk food it gets you sick. That's how it is for me.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I love to help out my community out in every way that I possibly can. I played AYSO Soccer ever since I was a little girl and i'm really thankful for all the coaches and the organization because they have helped to shape me into the player that I am today. I think that every kid should get a memorable experience like I did. I have coached a u12 girls team and a u8 boys team and I also am a referee for matches. I also am involved in many clubs in my high school such as Leo's Club, Youth Coalition Club, Interact Club, Youth Educator Program, and CSF. One of my favorite things that I have done with these clubs was traveling to Tecate, Tijuana and building a house in one day for a very poor family. It was an amazing experience and feeling.
