Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Off of the field: I am on the Executive Board for our High School's high-level choir where I take care of leadership roles, and keep everyone focused on our goals.
I am a volunteer and support the Feed My Starving Children program- which helps provide meals and services to people in need. It has been very rewarding to give a small part of myself to benefit and aide someone that needs help.

On the field: I as a player do not choose to go through the motions, but rather strive to benefit my team every play. Some players will block someone for five yards, and are content with their efforts. I take great pride in blocking to the whistle every play in order to go beyond average, because average is not an option for me.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
