Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been an active member in Key Club for four years. I have dedicated a lot of my time to the Kiwanis Family and my inspiration to aspire to greater heights was my sister Amy. She pushed me to be as involved as I can be in Key Club. I was the Freshman Representative my freshmen year and served as the voice of the freshmen on the Officers Board in my Club. I was then voted to be the club Bulletin Editor. I created a webpage for the club and still manage it today. I organized posters and wrote stories for the local paper about club activities. I am currently serving as the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Key Club Division 5 Lieutenant Governor. I serve on the District Board and am the sole communication from the District to the Club level in my Division. I am in charge of Mineral Point, Dodgeville, and Platteville Key Clubs. I also have newly chartered the Prairie du Chien Key Club in partnership with their Kiwanis Club. I am also a counterpart to the Kiwanis Clubs in my Division.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been a member of Key Club International, (2008-present) and include the following positions: Freshman Representative, Bulletin Editor, Club Treasurer, and Division 5 Lieutenant Governor. I was a 3-time voting delegate at WI-UM District Convention and voting delegate at Key Club International Convention.
I was a Badger Boys State Attendee, (2011), and included the following: City Party Chairman, County Attorney, State Assistant Attorney, and Captain of the Walker County cross country team.
I have been a member of the Boy Scouts of America, (2000-present), and include the following positions: Eagle Scout, Troop Eagle Adviser, Assistant Scoutmaster, Junior Assistant Scoutmaster, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Order of the Arrow Troop Representative, Quartermaster, and Bugler. I have been working especially with a troubled member of our troop in advancement for four years now to date.
I have been a member of the Order of the Arrow, (2007-present), and include the following: Takoda Lodge Executive Member (2010-present), Takoda Lodge Troop Representative Coordinator, Brotherhood rank, Ordeal rank, 4-time Elangomat (lead scout members through their Ordeal rank), helped with Badger Football Games to raise money for Takoda Lodge.
