Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I workout and eat healthy whether its the spring season or off season. I believe that keeping your body and healthy is what truly makes you a good athlete and helps you to perform at peak performance. I make sure to do this in the classroom also as keeping my grades up is what makes sure that I can participate in a sport.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been volunteering at an Adaptive Rowing program for kids and adults since the summer of 2014. I truly believe it has bettered me and I learn from the adults and kids that life truly is a wonderful thing and you shouldn't let anything stop you from experiencing it. I also try and volunteer in my school for things whether it's making sandwiches for the hungry or sending in old clothes and items.
