Personal Highlights

I am 16 yrs old and have played FPSB since I was 7. My main position is SS but I can play any position. I am working hard at becoming a consistent power hitter. I have hit (11) HRs in game play and I will continue to put in the effort to build my skill level at hitting and fielding. One of my biggest strengths is "coachability". I also play High School Volleyball and Club Volleyball and really enjoy it; it enhances my softball skills during the off season. I am a Volunteer Assistant Softball Coach at a local Middle School. I'm hoping to help the girls improve their skills and confidence.

I want to major in Medicine as a Physician's Assistant or MD. My goal is to play softball at the college level, for a college that has the same values and goals that I have. I love the game of softball and the friendships that I have made over the years. I'm excited about taking my skills to the highest possible level.

I am also with NCSA Sports recruiting: http://recruit-match.ncsasports.org/clientrms/athletes/2069995

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited so that I can play ball at the highest possible level and get a great education.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I am the starting SS and I play aggressively, this helps my team to play aggressively too. I also lead our team in pre-game prayers for safety and good play. Off the field, I am a Peer Instructor for firearm safety and technical demonstration.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I work hard in the off season to strength train and condition. I also work with a hitting coach year round. I attend winter softball camps and clinics to make myself better.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am part of a ministry called God's Way Outdoors. We teach people how to hunt (firearm and archery), fish, firearm safety, garden, and live off the land. I am also an Assistant Softball coach for a Title I Middle School. I assist with Operation Christmas Child at my school and I also volunteer as a Volleyball Official for JV Volleyball.
