Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

My father put a ball in my hands at a very early age and I've grown to love the game of basketball. It would be a great honor to continue playing basketball at a four year program after completing my associates degree.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

In high school I took the challenge of guarding the other teams best perimeter player every game and my teammates feed off of my defensive intensity.

Although we are still in conditioning, I take the challenge of pushing my teammates during speed and agility drills.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try to live a healthy lifestyle and actually prefer to drink water over sodas or juice. I am one of the smallest of my college teammates but I am pretty formidable in the weight room.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

While in high school I often volunteer at the community center where my grandmother works. I was also a student intern at a rehabilitation center which sparked my interest in Physical Therapy.
