Letters of Recommendation:

April 22, 2007 - To Whom It May Concern, My name is Kerrie Mallory-Thompson and I am the Lil Saints 18u softball coach on which Sarah Hall plays for. I came to know Sarah when she joined my team 2 years ago. From the moment I met her I noticed something different about her. She definitely stood out amongst the rest of the girls. I have coached many girls over the past several years, but not one of them comes close to Sarah.
Sarah continues to surprise me with her dedication to the sport. With her ability to maintain her high grades, to actively participate in the National Honor Society, as well as give so much of her time to her volunteer work, it amazes me she still finds time to practice and improve her skills on the field. She is so determined to become a better ball player that she will do anything and everything to find time to practice. Her loyalty to her coaches, her teammates, and the game itself has also amazed me. Over the past two years, Sarah Hall and has demonstrated responsibility & maturity. Sarah is highly intelligent and has good analytical skills as well as excellent communication skills with her coaches and her teammates. Her enthusiasm is contagious. Her determination is admirable. Sarah is always positive and is constantly supporting her teammates.

Sarah is a well disciplined, industrious young woman with a pleasant personality. She is capable, dedicated, and personable. Sarah is always quick on her feet, with sensible reactions in all the circumstances I've seen her in. I feel confident in saying that she is capable of handling any situation, on or off the field, with thoughtfulness, maturity, and ethics.
In conclusion, Sarah Hall has done an excellent job for me as part of our organization. I would highly recommend that you consider Sarah Hall for your school. There is no doubt in my mind that you would ever see any less than 110% effort from her. When she gives, she gives it her all. Sarah is a ball player through and through and will do an excellent job for you and your program. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 602-565-0140 or my email at anytime.

August 24, 2008 - Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Mike Crymble. I am the Athletic Director for Florence High School in Florence, Arizona. I have known Sarah Hall for many years and have always found her to be bright, engaging, and goal oriented. As an educator I have had the opportunity to work with students from a young age up through high school and beyond. During this time, I found Sarah to be extremely conscientious in doing academic work; she cared deeply that her work was done correctly and wanted to learn in any capacity she could.
Ms. Hall has a quick learning ability, is dedicated, reliable, and gets along excellently with others. These are her most outstanding traits that make her the upstanding student/athlete and young adult that she is. In class she is able to grasp new ideas easily and is willing to help her fellow classmates/teammates when needed. Athletically she possesses the same work ethic that helped her earn a 4.37 GPA in high school. This is evident with the awards she has won while playing softball.
Sarah will be an addition to whatever school/program she chooses to attend. I would be happy to discuss anything else related to Sarah Hall joining your school or program. Respectfully, Mike Crymble FUSD Athletic Director

September 30, 2008 – To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to you with regard to Sarah Hall. I have known Sarah for two years. As her coach and friend, I have always known her to have the desire to further her education. I applaud her decision and strong aspiration to take her dedication and skill to the next level.
As a softball player in our program, she was very reliable and played a positive role in her teammates’s lives. She knew how to lead vocally and by example. Sarah’s knowledge of the game, inside and out, showed on a daily basis. She was prepared mentally and physically to help our program be successful.
During the time I have known Sarah; I have found her to be a self-directed and an enthusiastic person. She works hard, learns quick and motivation would never be an issue. The thing that impresses me the most about Sarah is that she is constantly looking for new challenges. She never gives up and appreciates criticism that will only make her grow in the long run.
I am confident that she will from and give back to your program. I am pleased to highly recommend Sarah for your school. Sincerely, Rebecca Schweitzer Athletic Specialist Glendale Community College 480-529-2995

October 5, 2008 - To Whom It May Concern: With great pleasure I am writing this letter of recommendation for Sarah Hall. My name is Marsha Woodruff and I coached Sarah for 4 years as varsity coach at Florence High School.
Sarah’s greatest attribute is her determination to succeed whether in the game of softball or the game of life. She has approached both games in a highly professional manner indicative of a person several years older. Sarah is a leader on the field, in the classroom and among her peers. Her abilities as an athlete were achieved through hard work and determination. She has used those same abilities in her many challenges of everyday life. Sarah will bring to all her endeavors the willingness to achieve one goal, the goal to win. As her coach I knew I could rely on Sarah to contribute in every area of the game she pitched, played the infield, outfield and batted in the middle of the lineup all four years of high school. Her willingness to due what it takes helped us to advance to post season all four years. Loyalty, leadership and her love of the game will give Sarah that edge it takes to achieve all her goals.
In closing I know Sarah is capable of, and determined enough to be a great asset to your team in whatever capacity you determine. If I have been any help to you or Sarah I feel very gratified. Sincerely, Marsha Woodruff 602-980-9789
