Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I feel as though my dedication and work ethic for over 12 years in my sport shows my determination to get to college sports. I have given up vacations with family and many social opportunities for the chance to get there. I know how competitive it is and it is not easy but I have shown I am fully committed and "all in".

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have always maintained a rigorous workout and practice schedule and have never "slouched" or used any excuse to miss practice. If I show commitment to my team, my teammates will follow my lead. It's how we push each other to be as good as we can be.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I have over the years included lacrosse as a spring sport to show some diversity in my athletic ability. I played varsity as a sophomore and while not being my main sport gave 100% to my team.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have volunteer with special olympics in elementary school to donating my time to the Visiting Nursing association donation center. I have also participated in the Tunnels to Towers NYC run to honor the 9/11 firefighters. I actually came in 30 out of 1739 runners in my division as a sixteen year old. It was a great experience.
