Personal Highlights

I play Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Basketball. As a multi-sport athlete I believe I have learned valuable skills for use in athletics and life. I believe I have learned a diverse skill sets to build upon as a multi-sport athlete. I have learned to be a leader, to stay in good shape, to stretch outside of my comfort zone as an athlete, communicator, teammate and leader. I have learned to be humble, to be a good teammate and to support the go-to players if that is not my role for a team. I have developed mental toughness and strive to be a positive role model and represent myself, team, school, community and God with pride.

A fun fact about me is I am a State Honors vocalist and hope to use my gifts to help children.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Living Balanced Counseling PLLC - Volunteer completing clerical duties such as data entry, phone calls, filing/making copies and billing.

God Works- Help to serve the homeless meals.

Salvation Army-Filling food boxes for needy families in my community.

Angel Food-Volunteered helping Monroe County families pack and load food boxes. Load and unload food trucks, set-up and clean-up.

Nazarene church vocalist, play participant and youth group participant. Various community activities were completed as a youth group i.e., singing in nursing homes, participating in Bed Race which provides beds for children, nursery and children's room duty and other various tasks for elderly and the church.

High Impact and Longevity Volleyball Clubs- Assist coaching staff in the demonstration of skills, individual skill assessment, physical training and spokesperson for the sport and program.

MHS Softball, volleyball and basketball programs- I help lead younger athletes through athletic drills, teach skills and model MHS expectations and training philosophies demonstrating Trojan Pride.

These efforts are important to me because I believe I am called to show Christ's love with a giving heart and no expectation in return. It is a part of who I am.
