Soccer Honors

I have already earned two varsity letters from soccer and am going for my third as a junior. I was voted captain for my U16 spring soccer team and was also tied for leading goal scorer (even though I played goalie almost the whole time). I was almost picked to be captain my junior year but lost by one vote and I will most likely be captain next year..

Soccer Additional

As a freshman I was made the goalie for the varsity soccer team. There were many games where our team let in 5 goals a game but I would also have around 20 saves a game. As a sophmore are team got better and the ammount of goals scored on me per game dropped to 2.5. That year was the first year Lunenburg had gone to districts since around 2001. Now as a junior our team is playing competitive with teams that used to beat us seven to zero. Teams don't get to many chances to take good shots because I am usually fast enough to run out and stop the shot before they can take it. This year our team hopes to be league champion.

Other Academic Information
I am in the honors math program in my school and plan to take calculus as a seinor. I am also taking honors chemistry this year. On my PSAT's I was ranked in the 75th percentile among juniors when I was a sophmore. I have recieved almost all A's and B's in all my classes even though I practice sports year round from 2:30 to 5:00 almost every day.

Personal Highlights

I didn't start competing in track until I was in the 8th grade, but it was not until my freshman and sophmore years when I found the events I wanted to do. Those events are the 55m hurdles, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, polevault, javelin, high jump, and the decathlon. I also play soccer for my high school and will be captain my seinor year.
