Jasper just finished his 2nd year starting on varsity in which he was moved to the point guard position after playing on the wing last year and named to the Northwest Suburban All Conference Team. He was the teams 4th leading scorer, 5th leading rebounder, 3rd in steals and was 2nd in assists and named Mr. Assist by the team. He started all 28 games, was the teams leading free throw shooter at 76% and was #28 in the state in made free throws.

Jasper has an explosive first step, is great in the open court as he is able to use his athleticism and strength to get to the basket and finish. He has great court sense, game intelligence, vision and can knock down jump shots (36% from the arch) to set up dribble penetration. He is strong around the basket and a very productive rebounding guard who has the ability to quickly go end to end. He scored in double digit in all but 9 games this season.

2008-09 High School Highlights:
The team finished the season with the 2nd best record (17-11) in school history. His season high 20 points, (5 rebounds, 4 assist, 2 steals) came against Blaine in which he won the game on a buzzer beater after going 8 for 8 from the free throw line.
