Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I received the Eastern Connecticut Conference Sportsmanship Award and the Unsung Hero award for my high school's football team. I was voted in by my teammates to become captain of my lacrosse team as a sophomore and have been captain ever since.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

School, of course, comes first and after every school day I would work out in my school's weight room. On the weekends, I would take a break from doing homework and go down to my high school field and practice passing, shooting, ground balls, as well as other aspects of my game.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been doing community service since the age of eight. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas I help hand out turkeys and gifts to those who need help. Last summer I would volunteer at the local senior center every Wednesday.
