Personal Highlights

I am a four-sport athlete. I play soccer, football, basketball and track. I entered the 9th grade and was placed on the JV basketball team after tryouts and on February 15, 2017 I was moved up to Varsity. I am grateful for this opportunity and I will continue to work extremely hard. I will be an asset to the team. I was just moved up from JV High School Football to Varsity Football on the Dakota High School Football team on Friday October 20th 2017 and we are in the playoffs. Here are some highlights on my season 2017 on Hudl.com http://www.hudl.com/profile/4890440/darden-davis/videos#

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I want to pursue my dream and my passion.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

In one of my middle school basketball games I scored 19 points and lead my team to a victory. Also, here is an example of me being a leader off the field when my friends I were in class they were fighting over who was in the worst class that helps you improve your skills in a regular class. I told them both that you guys should not fight over that because it is just extra help to make you better at the subject you are trying to improve in.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student athlete I pursue a healthy athletic performance by not using any drugs or alcohol and eating lots of raw vegetables, fruit. I also eat a healthy amount of fish, chicken, and turkey.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
