Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

During one of my matches, my partner was losing, so I pulled him aside. I asked him how bad he really wanted it, along with many other things. To make a long story short, I got him all pumped up and he ended up winning his match. I am also going to be a captain of my golf team next season. Off the field, I am a great leader/role model. I have a younger brother that does whatever I do. I go home and do my homework, and the main reason I do this is because my little brother does the same thing as me. With my help, her is getting straight A's in his classes, and I am so proud of him.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Healthy has multiple meanings, but I'm going to take it one way. I play golf every day, but not too much. If I play too much, I will get burnt out and start to lose my game. Playing 18 holes everyday is perfect to me, and if I con that, I will guarantee I will play Division I golf.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I mow a lot of my neighbor's lawns because they are either unable to do it, or they just want me to do it. Nothing makes me more happy than to see my fellow neighbors smile as they glance at the freshly cut grass, knowing that there are still people that like to help them out.
