Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Running for Great Oak has been one of the best experiences and you must stay in the best shape possible to compete on such a prestigious team. Staying healthy means eating the right foods, exercising and showing up for practice everyday, training over the same, and taking the right precautions to avoid injuries. Even the little things like stretching and taking ice baths can impact the results of your race greatly.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In order to graduate from Great Oak students must obtain 40 or more community service hours. In the past three years I have served nearly 60hrs doing things such as working at local elementary and middle schools, going on mission trips, food drives, and multiple fundraisers. Each service is a new experience for me and shows me how even a simple task brings so much joy to a person or group of people.
