Water Polo Additional

I do not have any stats from my sophomore year seeing as my coach didn't take any. The career stats include my freshman, junior, and senior years. Also, I didn't start the two games my senior year due to time missed in order to follow concussion protocol.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I provide a healthy athletic performance by providing encouragement to all. I think that if your team is mad at each other, you might as well have lost the game already. I take a leadership role in that way of being there to set the example and act kind of like a mediator. It's one of my jobs to help the team come together as one and perform to its highest levels every time.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I, as often as possible, volunteer in my community- primarily their sports programs. I like to volunteer to referee soccer games in our local AYSO league, as well as coach in that same league. In past years, I've also helped with the registration process part of that league. This soccer league is especially important to me because of the fact this is where I started playing. Soccer was what got me started with sports, it gave me a chance to make the friends of a lifetime while also having fun playing sports. I want that opportunity for any kid that wants to try it out. They could hate it, but as long as I get to be apart of the one thing that may change their lives, I'll be okay with that.
