Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

For me, pursuing a "healthy athletic performance" is not only physically based, but mentally. I believe that almost all of what you to be physically prepared, you must work twice as hard to be mental prepared. Almost anyone can be physically prepared for a game situation but to be mental ready for one, is a different part of the game. Those mentally tough situations are the ones that bring out the players who are true athletes. These athletes are hard to find in young student athletes, this mental part of the game takes time and experience. Which one will only be gained, if their skill can benefit the team. Overall, to pursue a "healthy athletic performance", one must not only be physically prepared and conditioned for the match but also mentally sound to preform in certain circumstances.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
