Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to continue to play the game I love. I also feel that it would be a great opportunity to enhance my overall college experience.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field its important to communicate during the game but also during practice and preseason. Welcoming new comers to the team to ensure we all work together as one. Off the field I lead by example. Working hard in school getting good grades, volunteering for good causes and knowing my school work and attitude is solely my responsibility.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

healthy athletic performance happens both on and off season. Keeping a healthy diet and lifestyle as well as healthy relationships help me both on and off the field.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

For the past two years I have volunteered for the TOP (The Outreach Program) Soccer Program. This program is for kids with mental and physical disabilities who want to play soccer. I help these kids learn the game of soccer and play with them on the field so that they can experience a team sport.
I am an active girl scout who has received my Bronze and Silver award for helping my community including a school landscaping project which helped landscape the middle school. As well as raising funds to help the Salem Animal Rescue League.
