Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was elected to be captain my Junior year on the Paramus Golf Team. I take on a lot of the responsibility of the team by contacting all of the members of the team our schedule, and events. Before and after the season, I make team practices with the girls and boys to make sure we are practicing year round.

In school if there is a question a teacher asks that no one answers, I will always make an attempt at the answer whether it could be correct or incorrect.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Since golf contains a tremendous amount of mental game, I try my hardest to not let that ruin my game. For example if I miss a green in regulation, instead of getting upset about it, I put my determination towards the next shot to make a par. In addition, I make it a point to balance my school work, job, and golf into my schedule. It sometimes may be a challenge, but I will do whatever I can to be able to pursue my dream of playing college golf.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
